Meet Dr. Al-Zoubaidi
Dr. Al-Zoubaidi’s passion for medicine began in his home country of Iraq. He graduated with honors from the University of Baghdad Medical School in 1999. During this time, his interest in surgery blossomed, growing stronger with each passing day. Driven to pursue excellence in surgical training, Dr. Al-Zoubaidi moved to Dublin, where he trained at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. In 2007, he was awarded the surgical certificate of the Intercollegiate Membership of the Royal College of Ireland and England.
Dr. Al-Zoubaidi relocated to the United States in 2007 to expand his surgical expertise further. He joined the surgical training program at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by additional training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He then specialized in vascular and endovascular surgery at the University of Buffalo in Western New York.
Dr. Al-Zoubaidi is American board-certified in both General and vascular surgery. For over nine years, he has treated vascular patients with exceptional dedication and skill. His practice includes cutting-edge, minimally invasive vein and vascular procedures in office and hospital settings.
Driven by his dream of providing specialized care, Dr. Al-Zoubaidi recently realized his vision of opening his own vein and vascular center. The Vein & Vascular Center of Southern Illinois is a testament to his commitment to serving the local community, where he continues to offer his expertise and compassionate care to his patients.
